Tithes & Taxes

"Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is
God's,"
Jesus said in Matthew
22:21
.

So this post about tithes and taxes won't leave me alone in my brain, so I'd better write it out.

The end of the year -- specifically today being December 31, 2008 -- has me thinking about earning more than enough money to pay Uncle Sam by April 15, 2009, and that's forefront in my mind.

I created a spreadsheet detailing everything I've earned, expensed, donated and all other things taxable so I know about how much I'll pay the government come Springtime.

"How much should I give, God?" I hovered over the amount field on WordCity.org, my church's website, yesterday.

The amount I put in was more than I'd listed on my spreadsheet in advance, but it was right.

I hope.

Because even though I realized that the amounts we give each year only factor in a portion to make for a better tax situation, there's still the tithing test to pass.

Believe me, my Maker has dealt with me over this issue -- asking hard questions like: "Are you treating tithing like a spiritual lottery?" and "If you never got anything back from it, would you still give?"

I didn't tithe for 30 years...

...or thereabout. The first 30 years of my life, that is.

I remember seeing the word "tithe" on the right-hand side of the sanctuary at St. Edmund's Parochial School in Chicago where I grew up, but since we didn't really go to church, I didn't really know what tithing was.

Finally in 1999, after my mother died suddenly and I started going to church for solace regularly, I learned more about what God thought about giving.

So I gave here and there, eventually giving 10% or so -- until the day I took at $25, 000 or more lump-sum distribution from my 401k plan to move to California.

"There's no way I'm writing a check for $2,500 or more bucks," I kind of thought silently to myself, still in Ohio, sitting at The House of the Lord in Akron trying to listen to the choir sing.

"To Him Who sits on the throne, and unto the Lamb," they sang, joyfully swelling to the "be all blessings and power and glory forever" part.

I slumped down farther in the pew.

I couldn't praise. I felt low. I knew my Keeper wanted me to write that check.

I did.

It's been pretty much gravy ever since.

Which is not to say everything's perfect...

...obviously I still have debt.

But thank Him it's going in the right direction, downward, though I'd like it to go there faster.

And yes, I have days like today when I silently question the Prince of Peace as to why some people with goo-gobs of money never give one thin dime to any church or "nan" poor people and seem to have such a grand old time.

Then He reminds me how good I really do have it compared to some hurting folks out there...

And the Wonderful Counselor counsels that it's not over.

So I know about the Sweet Sixteen party and the 50 LV purses or whatever other drama and feedback people can try and refute the One Who will contend with those who contend with me can bring up.

But I've also seen first-hand moms standing in long, hot lines in this past summer with their kids just to get free hotdogs.

I was blest enough to be able to say, "I'm not waiting in this line -- let's go to McDonalds."

And to keep it that way, I give.

And pray I always do.

I want to come to a better end of my life than Schindler did when he ran around saying, "This car, this car could've been a life -- this watch, this watch could've been another life."

Because deep inside of me, I already know, like it took Solomon a lifetime to realize, that we can count it all up as vanity...

HP Home Server - HP MediaSmart Home Servers Get Great Reviews...

I just found out about these HP Home Servers, -- and they loook sweet to me.

Why are people going ga-ga over the HP home servers?

My husband doesn't see the point, but I was just explaining how we could have an HP home server that backs up all our data, from both our laptops and our workstation in the sitting room.

And we could access the data from our HP home server as well.

For example, if there's some kind of old file I want to grab off his laptop or our old PC, the HP home server would be just like a network drive to grab it off of.

Can the HP Home Server do a better job than DreamHost?

I wonder if I bought the HP EX475 MediaSmart Home Server (AMD Live, Windows Home Server, 1 TB Hard Drive) -- that's 1 TeraByte! -- and tried to run a new website from there (since I'm glad my websites are up on DreamHost, but not exactly wanting to add more there) would it do a better job?

Whatever, customers are loving the HP MediaSmart Home Servers...

...because looking at the ratings, as I always love to do when I'm considering buying a big product, the HP MediaSmart Home Servers have over 110 customer reviews as of this writing.

And they both have almost perfect 5 star ratings from actual customers right now.

That speaks well of the HP MediaSmart Home Servers as a product.

And I read that they're compatible with both Macs and "regular" PCs, as I call them.

Secure Your Vista PC in 10 Easy Steps

I'm going thru this article from PC World on how to secure your Vista PC in 10 easy steps, so I thought I'd save it and remember it and tell other people about it by blogging about it.

I've yet to find that "local security settings" options they're talking about, but I've done some of the rest and want to finish up later.

Safe is good.

Looking to Buy a Certified Diamond Online? (Round, Very Good cut, 6.21 carats, G color, VS2 clarity) - Amazon's Got One for $384,500!

You gotta love Amazon.

While poking around and researching the different things people buy online and setting up Adwords campaigns to advertise Amazon products, I came across this $384,500 Certified Diamond (Round, Very Good cut, 6.21 carats, G color, VS2 clarity) for sale online at Amazon.

Isn't that amazing?

I knew Amazon had good stuff -- expensive and good stuff -- but I didn't know they sold loose diamonds and an over 6 carat diamond at that!

That Amazon Associates revenue will be exactly $32,682.50 at 8.5% earnings rate for that one sale alone.

Incorporate Your Blog, Website, Writing Business in United States in 2009 - I'm going to experience tax savings...

I had the best visit with my dad recently -- a tax accountant with a wealth of knowledge about the advantages of small business incorporation.

Once I shared with Daddy just how much my online writing business is being blessed by God, he told me about the financial advantages of turning the blog / writing / website / webmaster -- whatever you call this I do -- into an LLC, LLP or some other entity:

  • Limits on liability in the unlikely (I pray) event of law suits
  • Building up Social Security wage credits
  • Drawing down a salary -- that, if you do it correctly, I'm reading around the net that it can save you on taxes -- although the personal 2008 tax rates look comparable to the corporate tax rates I've found online
But I've got a lot of research to do.

I want to incorporate my blogging business myself -- so I'm starting with the government's website for United States incorporation rules state by state.

Some people say it's best to incorporate in Delaware because it's easier and there are other advantages.

We'll see if I do it in my home state of Ohio or not.

Have you turned your blog/website/freelance writing business into an S-corp C-corp, LLC or LLP yet? If so, let me know how it goes...

Thanks, Daddy!

I love you so much...

~ $37,000 Per Month in Affiliate Earnings - Rosalind Gardner Shows Her Earnings...

Maybe the same day after I was led to apologize for asking if Rosalind Gardner's book was scammy or not, she put up this cool video showing how much money's actually in her affiliate accounts.

She really is inspiring me with her philosophies -- and I see she's been in some of the programs for years, since 2001.

I believe I remember reading she had some dating sites and such.

Watch Rosalind Gardner's proof of actual affiliate earnings:

»»»»»»» Target Affiliate Program - Does anyone know where the Target Affiliate Program went?

Whenever I see a hotly searched for item like Target's 2008 Black Friday ads are today -- I ask myself:

Hmmmm....am I a member of that affiliate program already?

Searching Target.com, I did find info about their affiliate program, but that page leads you to a "not found" advertiser on Google's Affiliate Network on ConnectCommerce.com -- which I am a part of.

I see that I was declined for Target's affiliate program some months ago -- way back on 7/8/2008 -- but went I try to find it to reapply, I can't find it. And Target's not listed under the deactivated affiliate progams -- so what gives, Google?

Are you in Target's Affiliate Program? If so, how'd you get in? Thanks!

Check here for the latest news written about Target's Affiliate Program in the past month...

»»»»»»» Why I Hate Some Google Ads -- and Gave That Space to Amazon Instead...

Despite my happiness over the new Google Ad Review center -- that thank God is providing better paying ads overall --- I hate some Google ads.

For all my ad watching and blocking, I logged onto my WatchFreeEpisodes.com website today to find a huge banner ad promoting married folks cheating!

That was it.

I gave that space to a nice Amazon Christmas ad instead.

'Tis the season anyway...

»»»»»»»» Google Adsense Earnings - Increase Google Adsense Earnings by Using the Ad Review Center

I really just found out about Google's Ad Review Center after bemoaning the fact that I couldn't block more scuzzie and skeevy advertisers from my websites.

Well, God heard my prayers because lo and behold I logged onto my Google Adsense account and looked under the "Adsense Setup" page then clicked on "Competitive Ad Filter" and found "New: Ad Review Center" link there.

Increase Your Google Adsense Earnings...

...hopefully it will yours like it's doing mine ever since I opted into that "Ad Review Center" -- which I hope has been rolled out to everybody by now -- and then I went thru and blocked the obviously scuzzy Adwords advertisers. The ones who have a lot of junk ads ready for review on your site, the ones that when you go to their website, it looks like crap.

So you know they won't be paying you much per click.

Anyway, my Google Adsense earnings / income increased...

...only one day after blocking out the scuzzballs.

(Check back for a new updated income post by year end.)

What I did was keep the advertisers relative to my website about watching TV online -- and those advertisers were the ones I know have money and probably pay better per click: like The WB, Fox, CSI NY, etc.

Don't worry if you don't see many ads to approve at first -- what you need to do is make sure you have good words defined in your Adsense channels and that they are targetable (find out how to do that here) and if you're in a good niche and blog a lot, the good advertisers will come.

And most likely pay you more...

But Google warns, as do I, that switching over to Ad Review Center can cause a loss of income too, but for me it was worth the risk.

»»»»»»»» Google Keyword Search - New Google Keyword Search Tool...

Google's got a new Google Keyword Search Tool that I'm liking right now.

I've been plopping Google.com into the website field and searching on a number of terms like "money" and "video" and whatever to get a sampling of the actual demand for the keywords that people are typing into Google.

I was so inspired by Lindsay over at WritingForYourHealth.com making over $103,000 last year from Google Adsense alone -- and her method of writing about basic matters that people are interested in online, that I'm realizing there's lot more money to be made online, once I research what people want.

So try Google's new keyword search tool (login to your Adwords account for even more Google Keyword Search Tool words) and see what you come up with!

»»»»»»» WalMart Affiliate Program Thru LinkShare - What the heck do you have to do to get in WalMart's referral program?

It's weird, I was approved for WalMart's affiliate / referral program before thru LinkShare -- LinkShare is an e-commerce business solution for over 3.5 million online relationships. Become an affiliate of the LinkShare Network for FREE and earn revenue by linking to over 500 premier online merchants.

I'm liking LinkShare -- they are sending me a free Turkey, along with 99 other of their affiliates -- and I pitch Movie Rentals Now Available on iTunes and other products thru them.

And I was at one point accepted into the WalMart program thru LinkShare. But I waited too long to act on the email.

Now I'm trying everything to get back into the affiliate program.

I updated my profile to reflect the more than 500,000 monthly pageviews I get on WatchFreeEpisodes.com -- changed from International pitching to strictly US -- made myself all kinds of corporations since I plan to incorporate like John Chow did his blog to save on taxes...

Nothing.

Yet.

But I'm praying to make it in there.

Are you in LinkShare's WalMart affiliate program? If so, how'd you get in? Thanks!

$100,000 Google Adsense Income in One Year - How Does Lindsay Buroker Do It?

I'm freshly inspired to increase my online income due to Lindsay Buroker over at WritingForYourWealth.com -- who just wrote the post "What it Takes to Make $100,000 a Year From Adsense," detailing somewhat how she's upped her Google income.

Some ideas are sticking with me: Like focusing on consumer products -- and what people are actually already searching for, not necessarily trying to create a need.

And not jumping into an over-crowded market.

But what websites does Linsday run that are her money-makers?

I looked all over her site to try and find the two websites that are her main moneymakers to see her design.

Basically, I want to know how long those websites have been up -- how she SEO's them, and how much content is there.

You guys already know that WatchFreeEpisodes.com is my main money-maker...

...and stay tuned for an updated income post by the end of 2008.

So it will be great when Lindsay lets us all know what her main money-making websites are so we can emulate the philosophy.

Thank God for us bloggers helping each other out - and stirring up the gifts within each of us!

Verizon Wireless Affiliate Program? Google Affiliate Network doesn't list the Verizon Wireless referral program...

I'm all over wanting to promote the new BlackBerry Storm, which I've yet to find on Amazon.com -- but I do see it on the Verizon Wireless website.

So I clicked to join the Verizon Wireless affiliate program and that leads me to the old Connect Commerce's site, which is now the Google Affiliate Network.

But I'm searching around the Google Affiliate Network, and don't see Verizon Wireless anywhere.

Does anyone know anything about -- or are you in -- the Verizon Wireless referral program?

Where is it?

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

»»»»»»» Watch videos on the Kindle? Get your blog on the Amazon Kindle blogs...

Get your blog listed on Amazon Kindle blogs -- that's what I'm about to do -- thank God for my husband prompting me if I could get mine listed on there.

I'm going to apply to have the WatchFreeEpisodes.com website listed on the list of Amazon Kindle blogs, but since that site contains lots of videos that begs the question:

Can you watch YouTube videos and stuff on Amazon's Kindle?

Kindle owners, let me know if you can watch any videos on your Kindle?

Never mind, I think Amazon just answered my question:

Video and User Generated Links: You agree to remove all video and / or user-generated links (e.g. Reddit, DIGG, and Technorati).

Product from an Excluded Merchant - What the hell, Amazon? Maybe it's Nintendo's fault...

Alert Product from an Excluded Merchant

The product is offered by an Excluded Merchant and will NOT earn Associate referral fees on any sales.

That's the message I got when I planned to promote this Wii in stock for $249.99 on Amazon:

I saw the Wii on ReadWriteWeb and thought it would be good to promote -- again.

I wonder if my other Wii code is earning money?

I'd better check...

Wow! I haven't gotten Wii earnings since December 2007!

I just checked my Amazon earnings report and saw that the last time I earned on the Wii console -- not games and accessories -- was December 2007!

That was a good Christmas last year.

But I wonder how many I've sold without the commission?

Anyway...thank God other Amazon products are selling well, especially now that it's close to Christmas again.

Guess I'm definitely letting those Wii sites go now.

Yep, I just Googled and found out from the Digital Point Forums that since like May 2008 Amazon hasn't been paying for Wii Console sales to affiliates.

Oh well, guess we'll just make money off people buying Amazon Kindle readers!

GPS Tracker for Lost Dogs, Stolen Cars, Wayward and Forgetful Teenagers...

All-in-one-SEO Pack Error on Update -- I just switched to HeadSpace2 WordPress Plugin...

For those of you on WordPress using the All-in-One-SEO Plugin, you know how cool that tool can be to drive traffic to your site.

But today I saw the normal little "upgrade" beneath the All-in-One SEO plugin and got an error -- something about that /home/.regalo/ folder in my WatchFreeEpisodes.com directory that I tried to look into a bit -- but didn't find much about.

So I used that opportunity to do a little digging (I'm redesigning my site anyway) and thanks to this guy's post about great WordPress plugins, I found the HeadSpace2 seo plugin to download.

I'm trying it -- we'll see what happens. Do you use HeadSpace? If so, leave me a comment, please, and let me know how you like it.

UsernamePasswdNotMatch - Getting UsernamePasswdNotMatch Response from Google Adsense? Try another browser...

I just tried to log onto my Google Adsense account using my Firefox browser and freaked out when I kept getting the "UsernamePasswdNotMatch" text on a blank white page.

I thought I'd typed in my password wrong -- or that Google was merging accounts or something worse!

Thank God I read thru some help screen that said to try a different browser and clear your cache before sending Google Adsense support an email.

I did just that -- I popped over to Internet Explorer, logged onto my Google Adsense account from there and lo and behold great God almighty, the "UsernamePasswdNotMatch" error did not appear, just the total of the lovely money I need to pay these bills and tithes and offerings and then some!

Whew!

So if you found this post because you also got the "UsernamePasswdNotMatch" from the Big G -- don't fret, pet -- it might just be your browser.

Hopefully...

What do people type into Google? Use Google Insights for search to find out...

My new best friend is Google Insights for Search, a new tool by Google that gives us clues as to what stuff people are searching for and the breakout trends.

To use Google Insights for Search, just type in any word you think of, like how I typed in "Google" here, and see what's trending down to the right-hand side.

You can see I set up my search to find out what people are typing in related to "Google" in the past 30 days, only in the US.

And a bunch of info about the new Google Chrome browser pops up.

I love it.

DreamHost Down - Many DreamHost Websites Down on Tuesday, September 23, 2008...

I love DreamHost. I use them for most of my websites (all of my dot coms) because of their ease of use in installing WordPress with their awesome "one-click installs" -- but DreamHost has been experiencing some issues with their servers today, which I'm sure those DreamHost guys are on top of.

Of course the DreamHost downage came during one of my site's busiest traffic days -- but I'll bet you DreamHost fixes the problem soon.

I don't want to move anywhere else. How is BlueHost? Does anyone use them?

I'd really love to stay with DreamHost.

Making Money Online - How One 'Hot Blonde' is Making Money Online with a Free Blogger Blog... $678.09 in July 2008

How are Bloggers Making Money Online with Free Blogger Blogspot Blogs?

People ask me all the time how are we making money online -- and today I found that interesting post about how one "hot blonde" is making money online.

I love that the person is making their money online with a free Blogger / Blogspot blog.

That spells hope for people who can't afford to create their own dot coms, or don't know how.

Just jump on Blogger.com, set up a free blog, post your little heart out with good, SEO'd, quality content, put the Google ads up front and center -- and voila! -- you could be posting up your numbers next year or sooner.

So my Google Alert led me to this post saying that the pre-registration period of .CM domains is here.

But where can we legitimately register .CM domains that aren't $700?

I don't see the option of .CM domain name registration on Go Daddy -- is this real?

How Do You Make Money From Home?

If it's online, feel free to leave your money-making from home online tips in the comments section.

I know 20 grand is less than some people make online from home in 8 months, but I suspect there are plenty others salivating to make that much -- like I am when I read about the big bloggers out there making ten times that from their humble (or palatial) abodes.

I believe we can all learn from each other how to make money from home...especially during these times when people want to make good money from home to put in their gas tanks.

»»»»»»»» Find out what people are searching for with Google's new AdWords Keyword Tool that now shows search volume numbers...

I'm glad Google updated their AdWords Keyword Tool thingee to finally show the numbers of the search volume terms by month that people are searching for.

This will be helpful in determining those "evergreen" terms that people search for month in and month out -- or even for figuring out new trends to start blogging about or whole new websites around.

Just plop a word -- any keyword or phrase -- in that box it shows and then click "get keyword ideas" and run with it!

»»»»»»»» Google Affiliate Network Launches, DoubleClick Performics Now Google Affiliate Network...

Today I received the below email in my inbox about the new Google Affiliate Network. I used to be a DoubleClick Performics member, but I couldn't figure out my old password and login, so I reapplied to the new Google Affiliate Network. Hope I get in!

June 30, 2008

We are pleased to introduce Google Affiliate Network . Effective Monday, June 30, 2008, DoubleClick Performics Affiliate will operate as Google Affiliate Network. The integration with Google's brand is a reflection of efforts to quickly assimilate our business and teams, as well as reinforce Google's commitment to the Affiliate channel. Together with our new colleagues at Google we are creating new opportunities for monetization, expansion and innovation in Affiliate Marketing.

Someone clicks the ad on your site... ...buys the advertised product... ...and you receive a commission on the sale.

Within the next couple of weeks you will see some exciting changes to the user interface reflecting the new brand. The platform will continue to be hosted at http://www.connectcommerce.com/, but will eventually migrate to a google.com product url.

As noted in earlier communications, DoubleClick Performics' Search operations are being spun off and sold to a third party. While many advertisers have relationships with both DoubleClick Performics' Affiliate and Search, there have always been separate account teams and product-specific specialists servicing clients' search and affiliate programs. These teams remain intact.

While the formal separation will occur when the Search business is sold, the businesses are functionally separate today. We are proud of what we achieved as Performics and this name change signals a new milestone. Google provides world-class resources and enables us to continue to attract the best talent to support our advertisers and publishers.

Now as part of Google we have an exciting and unprecedented opportunity to advance our industry. We remain committed to ensuring you receive the quality service you have come to expect from us.We appreciate your business and look forward to doing great things together.Sincerely,Chris HengerGroup Product ManagerGoogle Affiliate Network

»»»»»»»» CBS Videos Removed From RedLasso - Now I don't want to go on a rant here...

CBS Streaming Video Clips Removed From RedLasso. ARRGHHHG!!!!!!

So this week Bishop TD Jakes' daughter, Sarah Jakes, got married and was featured on Entertainment Tonight. I caught the segment on TV, but many people didn't so they went searching hot and heavy for video of Sarah Jakes' wedding online...

Yeah, notice how that clip is unavailable now?

I did some digging, and turns out all of CBS' videos that I tried to play from RedLasso are now unavailable!

So of course I go poking around ETOnline.com to see what video CBS has put up to satisfy their online searches for the wedding of Bishop TD Jakes' daughter -- and of course, as of this writing, find NONE!

This is why the network TV execs making these decisions suck.

CBS is not a pay-cable TV station, it's a free TV station that should readily offer clips of its TV segments just as readily online as they do off-line, on TV.

For it to be 2008 and for a network like CBS to not understand this is beyond belief.

It's not like it's 1998 -- with some folks still asking: What's the Internet?

Let's pray CBS gets smart and finally realizes the advertising revenue they could be making -- and the online customers they could be satisfying while they're busy trying to keep their popular clips OFF the net, WITHOUT putting the popular clips on the net themselves.

»»»»»»»» Find out how many visitors a website has, plus the most-popular searches that bring them visitors -- free from Google Trends for Websites...

New Google Trends for Websites Tells You How Many Visitors a Website Gets, and
Their Most Popular Keyword Searches!

Webware has a great write-up about the new Google Trends for Websites, so instead of reinventing the blog post, though I'd just send my readers on over to them.

find keywords,popular searches,google trends,google trends for websites,how many hits,how many visitors,website visitors

Already I've checked out the data for Perez Hilton, whom I already knew gets around 600k hits a day -- funny that Google.com nor YBF.com doesn't disclose their stats (must not have Google Analytics tracking their data, odd for Google!) but Yahoo.com and other websites do, so play around and find out some great keywords under the "Also Searched For" section on the right hand side of Google Trends for Websites.

I've learned some good stuff -- off to post away on my other websites! I'll let you know how it works and how much more traffic it can bring us bloggers...

»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»» Password Hacker for Yahoo Messenger - Trying to login without password on Yahoo messenger? Find out who's IMing your kids...

Password Hacker for Yahoo Messenger - Trying to login without password on Yahoo messenger? There's a better way...

Need a password hacker for your Yahoo Messenger account? Or is it your spouse's or kids' Yahoo Messenger account that you're trying to hack into?

Believe me, I've forgotten my share of my own passwords on my own Excel spreadsheet, and I hunted around Google for password hackers till I found something that reminded me what my own password was.

How to Hack Into Your Own Yahoo Messenger Password...

Of course, the easiest way to hack into your Yahoo Messenger forgotten password account is to avail yourself of the Yahoo Messenger "forgot password" or whatever option.

But I suspect many people searching for "password hacker for Yahoo Messenger" want to find out if their mate is cheating on them by sending secret IMs to their lovers, or if some skevvy old guy is IMing their kids.

In that case, if you're talking about hacking into your own Yahoo Messenger account password, or a Yahoo Messenger account on your OWN computer, the discreet Keykatcher-Mini, 64k keystroke capture tool would work for you.

Before you buy it, make sure your keyboard is not the USB connection kind in the back -- but the round 6-pin type!

One parent who used it said she first informed her children that she would be checking into their online activity, so they knew their mom would be watching everything they sent.

The Keykatcher-Mini, 64k catches everything typed -- IM passwords, emails, etc. -- so you can open the data later in a text file and make sure your kid's not giving away the home address, or preparing to meet some stranger overseas.

Everything that is secret will be brought out into the open. Everything that is hidden will be uncovered. Luke 12:2

»»»»»»»» Google Trends Down? Google Hot Trends List Not Updated in 5 Hours and Counting...

google trends,most searched for,hottest searches,most popular searches,most popular,google popular,get to top of google, google #1,google number 1 spot,get on google,google serps,google pics,google images

My fair Google trends list, please update thee again!

I absolutely love Google Trends Labs list that's usually updated hourly.

Today Google Trends list hasn't been updated in over 5 hours.

The other day, Google Trends list wasn't updated for 15 hours or more.

Wow, I didn't know till I read that post that spammers are the ones responsible for those X-rated weird searches that show up on the list. Hope Google is doing away with those ASAP...

What's up, Google Trends people at your Google Plex?

Hopefully they're just working hard to make the Google Trends list even better, giving us not only a list of the movers and shakers, but the most popular pages indexed by day, month, 3-month period, 6-month-period and more.

Wouldn't that be cool?

Won't it be so awesome to see what pages in this whole world wide web got the most hits in one day?

»»»»»»»» Watch Army Wives Online - Full Episodes are Drawing Viewers in Droves

Watch Army Wives Online Full-length Episodes on the Web

Lifetime has free, full episodes of Army Wives online here - including Season 2 Army Wives premiere episode under the "full episodes" tab.

  • Army Wives - Army Wives, Season 2

Army Wives Season 2 Full Episodes online for cheap...

  • Army Wives Season 1 full episodes are online here for cheap...

  • Army Wives DVD of Season 1

  • And the... Army Wives DVD, Army Wives Online,Army Wives TV show,Army Wives Army Wives DVD for Season 1 is now available for sale.

  • You all know my new passion is WatchFreeEpisodes.com, a site that shows you where you can watch free full- and partial-length shows like Army Wives online, another of my new passions.

Lifetime is smart in that they're running the first two full-length hit episodes of Army Wives for free on their site...and I hope they leave them there!

Sites like USA Network have wreaked a bit of havoc as of late and are sure to cause a revolt for removing the full free episodes of The Starter Wife that were online and available to watch the day after it premiered.

Watching Full-length TV Shows Online is the Future
Nothing could be more clear than the popularity of people wanting to watch their favorite full-length TV shows and movies online free (or pretty cheaply and easily) right now.

CBS.com will have full-length episodes of Big Brother 8 online this summer for bloggers to incorporate into their blogs.

VideoHybrid, a site that has free TV shows and movies online has been down for the past few days and is apparently switching to another server from the high traffic demand.

Put more legal full-length TV shows and movies online!
It AMAZES me that we cannot watch full episodes of shows like Oprah and The View online for free, ones that are on free TV network channels.

Hopefully they will have more than partial clips on ABC soon for those two daytime talk shows, due to high viewer demand for specific Oprah and The View shows.

So instead of playing the cat-and-mouse YouTube game of posting copyright infringed-upon clips that are later removed, copyright owners would be smart to offer ALL full-length episodes of free TV shows on their sites, and offer bloggers a split of the great advertising revenue who drive viewers to those shows.

And make the free full-length shows easy to access!
I don't think sites like Joost.com -- that make users jump thru techie hoops and download stuff that even I, being pretty techie, STILL haven't figured out how to use and get beyond the errors I received -- will be enormously popular in the long run.

Heck, if people are feeling trepidation about downloading ABC.com's simple player to watch their full-length shows online, I think Joost.com and others may prove a bit too complicated for average web users.

Watch Free Episodes Dot Com Moguls
Webpreneurs who get in on this amazingly fast growing trend of viewers wanting to watch most all of their TV shows online -- after all, more and more people are using their plasma TV screens as their computer monitors -- may find themselves sitting on Oprah's couch one day telling Oprah how they made millions from getting in on the start of the trend.

And they'll return home to watch how they fared on The Oprah Winfrey Show by Googling the full episode -- available for free online.

»»»»»»»» 25,000 Hits in One Day on Your Blog - How to get them...

Want to increase blog traffic? Witness the testimony of 25,000 blog hits in one wonderful day...

I got 25,000 blog hits on my TV site in one day. Actually, the gravy train kept going for two days, with each day averaging about 25,000 hits.

I'm so overjoyed, I had to take a screen pic (CLICK TO ENLARGE IT) and share the tips below it:
    increase blog traffic,free blog hits,increase pageviews,my pageviews,get hits,increase readers,online readers,blog readers,blogs

How to get more daily traffic to your blog...

1 - Check Google Hot Trends list.I admit it, I'm obsessed. Google trends list is how I get my daily news. But watch out -- some stuff you don't want to click on.

2 - Write a blog post about something that interests you on the list that people are searching for, but not many people have written about yet -- at least not in a good SEO'd (search-engine optimized) type of way.

But when you see an interesting item like "Elevator Ghost," you gotta blog about it.

3 - Be short and sweet...and if it involves a video, even better.
Short posts work pretty well. People don't necessarily want to pour over my eloquent words (at least not in that setting) -- they just want to see the video. Short and quick!

4 - Give the link love...In that Granny Ghost post linked to above, I actually thought about not linking to the guy who posted up the answer that it was a hoax. But then my Spirit said, "No, go ahead and take the time to link to him."

5 ....it will come back to you 100,000 fold! (I pray...be it El-Shaddai's will alone...)
Lo and behold, The Huffington Post (which gets over 550,000 -- that's more than half a million --- visitor per day!) linked to my post in a provocative, interesting, teasing way that made people come-a-clikin'!

    6 - Don't mind the content scrapers...
...they only help your PageRank if they link to you. I learned this lesson either from the Carlo Cab kid who's in the fourth "make money online" top Google position right now.

Or was it from Courtney Tuttle, The Internet Marketing fellow?

I don't know, both those guys inspire me.

    7 - Write your visions...
...make them plain. Photoshop your future.

Fast and pray over them, and He will make them happen.

Then document the answered visions and say Thank You, Jesus!!!

»»»»»»»» Red Lasso Down or Shut Down? Why the best website in the world may be gone in about 60 hours...

Red Lasso may be down for the count... but I hope not...

An Ode to a Great Techie Urn Called Red Lasso...
    Red Lasso, Red Lasso.

    How do I love thee?

I love thee for the depth and breadth of your streaming broadband footage...

The ease of which you allow bloggers to clip specific parts of footage and upload them to our blogs for all to witness.

I love thee for thy embed code.

I love thee for thy ingenuity... For I just discovered your full potential this past weekend, and now in a forthnight or two you just may depart from the blogosphere.

Fear not what the mockers -- are saying of thee, oh fair Red Lasso -- unless, of course, it was meant to be.

For me, my dearest Red Lasso, I'm praying for millions more in millions more series rounds of funding.

For thy technology and vision (if not thy legal loophole) was the best...

»»»»»»»» EDEN Body Works: Oprah Guest Helps Hair Breakage

UPDATE: WATCH JASMINE LAWRENCE ON THE TODAY SHOW VIDEO...

    by Paula Neal Mooney

On Oprah's show about young smart kids, there was a young black girl named Jasmine who is the CEO of a company named EDEN BodyWorks.

At only 15, Jasmine developed her own formula of EDEN Body Works products that help prevent hair breakage.

(Interesting, because Jasmine appeared to be wearing pretty extension braids herself, but her own EDEN Body Works must've helped restore the bald patches she once had.)

Of course, Oprah related her story of when her fell out as the result of a bad relaxer. The EDEN Body Works leader also had the same experience at a younger age.

With products like an All-Natural Hair Oil with JOJOBA and Peppermint & Tea Tree Shampoo and Conditioner, EDEN Body Works will no doubt receive plenty of hits in coming day.

You can even sign up on the EDEN Body Works site to receive free samples. March 30, 2007 update: No more free samples! Just got this email from Jasmine:

Paula, Thank you so much for your support of me on your blog. I really appreciate you supporting me and trying to help my dream come true. I just have one request of you: Please remove the fact that we provide free samples because i no longer do that. I have too many orders to ship out samples thanks to my appearance on the Oprah show. God has blessed me with so much in the past month and I'm sure he will continue to bless you too. You are very kind and your good deeds will not go unnoticed. Once again thank you and God Bless. Dooce Movie - $40,000 Per Month Earning Mommy Blogger Heather Armstrong is Talking to Hollywood...

    Dooce Movie, Dooce Income,Dooce Salary

    Dooce Movie May Happen...

How cool is it to see that Dooce (aka "Mommy Blogger" Heather Armstrong) now earns $40,000 per month and just may be making Dooce.com the Movie?

I remember learning about Dooce waaaaaayyyy back when nearly two years ago (though she's been blogging since 2001) when there was the drama over her book lawsuit bruhaha -- and now look at Heather!

Though I haven't read her in a while, it's cool to see Dooce in movie talks...

Google Pagerank Update Going On: May 2008 Increases...

Google Pagerank Updates Going On.. Penalties and Increases Noticed...

So Google's going thru a Pagerank increase.

Daniel over at DailyBlogTips.com noticed it via Courtney The Internet Marketing guy the other day.

(Right now I'm lovin' the Adsense-Ready Studio Press Red WordPress Theme by Daniel so much that you can see I use it on the majority of my sites, some of which are listed below.)

But with Google's PageRank upgrades come penalties for some.

I got a frantic email from a different blogging friend saying that Google penalized her site. I've been there before, so I can empathize....

Thankfully, it didn't last too long. Maybe a month or two?

Sounds like forever in the world of blogging, but when it happened, it just forced me to turn my attention to other sites, and thank the King I did.

So favor is falling and my pageranks are up -- it really does make a difference in getting that good Google traffic.

Stay blessed. For all who are interested in blogging, study my sites and see what tips you can glean for making money online that have come thru answered prayers and just plain old grace...
