Google's got a new Google Keyword Search Tool that I'm liking right now. I've been plopping Google.com into the website field and searching on a number of terms like "money" and "video" and whatever to get a sampling of the actual demand for the keywords that people are typing into Google. I was so inspired by Lindsay over at WritingForYourHealth.com making over $103,000 last year from Google Adsense alone -- and her method of writing about basic matters that people are interested in online, that I'm realizing there's lot more money to be made online, once I research what people want. So try Google's new keyword search tool (login to your Adwords account for even more Google Keyword Search Tool words) and see what you come up with!

My new best friend is Google Insights for Search, a new tool by Google that gives us clues as to what stuff people are searching for and the breakout trends. To use Google Insights for Search, just type in any word you think of, like how I typed in "Google" here , and see what's trending down to the right-hand side. You can see I set up my search to find out what people are typing in related to "Google" in the past 30 days, only in the US. And a bunch of info about the new Google Chrome browser pops up. I love it.

My fair Google trends list, please update thee again! I absolutely love Google Trends Labs list that's usually updated hourly. Today Google Trends list hasn't been updated in over 5 hours. The other day, Google Trends list wasn't updated for 15 hours or more . Wow, I didn't know till I read that post that spammers are the ones responsible for those X-rated weird searches that show up on the list. Hope Google is doing away with those ASAP... What's up, Google Trends people at your Google Plex? Hopefully they're just working hard to make the Google Trends list even better, giving us not only a list of the movers and shakers, but the most popular pages indexed by day, month, 3-month period, 6-month-period and more. Wouldn't that be cool? Won't it be so awesome to see what pages in this whole world wide web got the most hits in one day?

I was amazed that under "Recent Keyword Activity" -- a feature I absolutely love the most on StatCounter that gives you the real-time search terms people are typing in to find you -- that lots of people were searching for the DC Madam's client list , a story I'd heard about a while back that interested me, so I blogged about it. Turns out the DC Madam had published her clients' phone numbers on her website Monday night, and lots of people wanted the list. So much so that this blog has blessedly received about 19,000 pageviews in the past 60 hours.
