by Paula Neal Mooney DontDateHerMan.com ...ah, what can I say? Tasha C. Joseph , site creator of Don't Date Him Girl is now launching a brother (or sister?) website of sorts called Don't Date Her Man . I was never a big fan of Don't Date Him Girl in the first place. Billed as a way for women to "warn" each other about cheating and no-good men, Don't Date Him Girl always smacked of mean-spiritedness to me. The first time I saw Tasha Joseph on TV was the other night, when she was interviewed on a segment of i-Caught , but I can't find the video interview of her anywhere. (Hit me up with a link, will ya, readers? Thanks!) The big problem I have with sites like DontDateHerMan.com is that they offer an easy way for people to lie and besmirch someone's good name. Kinda like the woman on i-Caught who was the victim of a another jealous woman who posted a bunch of evil stuff about her online -- the first woman sued the other woman and won. Other people wer...

by Paula Neal Mooney Yesterday I checked my Feedburner Email Subscriber count on Watch Free Episodes to see if I'd hit the 1,000 subscribers count yet and was dismayed to see it had dropped to 86. Oh no! I thought. Did I accidentally delete a whole bunch of Feedburner email subscribers when I deleted one woman who sent me an email to unsubscribe? (Some people miss that unsubscribe button.) Thankfully, the newly redesigned Darren Rowse put up a post yesterday that showed lots of people were freaking out over their Feedburner email subscriber counts dropping . And praise be to the Lord of Hosts above that I checked again today, and my Feedburner email subscriber count had indeed passed 1,000 on my other site, and was close to 500 for this one. How to Get Your Feedburner Email Subscriber Numbers to Increase So now that I've teased you with that intriguing blog post title, here are the main ways I've gotten my Feedburner email and feed subscriber counts to increase and how y...

by Paula Neal Mooney Pro tem Judge Jonathan MacArthur has been recused (boy, I'm learning a lot of legalese) from his position purportedly because of his MySpace page . Jonathan MacArthur's MySpace page has been set to private, but here's the lowdown: The controversial " Breaking my foot off in a prosecutor's ass... " comments at the crux of getting Jonathan MacArthur dooced actually lead to a post created on Friday, June 15, 2007, titled "The Ballad of Jamal Verde ," wherein MacArthur takes us average readers inside a drive-by shooting, and lists the reasons why MacArthur defends ogres like that: "Sometimes otherwise decent people do terrible things. And we hate them for it," MacArthur wrote. "The victim's little girl will probably never feel like Jamal will suffer enough for taking her father away. But if Jamal were your son, you'd want me to do this job the best that I could. (Especially if he wasn't guilty.)...

by Paula Neal Mooney FantasyFootballFreeAdvice.com is a website about the 2007 fantasy football season and beyond, a site that my husband and I have been holed up creating the last few days. Ever since learning about the successes of folks I met at BlogHer07, having fun and making nearly $12,000 per year off one niche site alone , I've been intrigued with setting up new niche sites. My readers are responded well to the idea, and are setting up niche sites of their own, so I thought I'd add my thoughts to other tips on how to get those sites indexed by Google fast : 1 - Buy your domain name for more than 1 year I read somewhere that Google looks at the expiration date of your dot com name -- if it expires in a year, they don't treat it as seriously as those with longer periods. For that reason I extended my WatchFreeEpisodes.com to two years, and my husband bought FantasyFootballFreeAdvice.com for 5 years. 2 - Get a link from a website with PageRank 5 or higher This guy...

by Paula Neal Mooney Tiger Woods is playing "down the road a piece," as my grandfather "Daddy Elmer" used to say, at the Bridgestone Invitational here in Akron. But since I usually prefer the commercials to the actual sporting events, I have no idea what the golf score are. I'm blogging instead about this funny Kohler Shower Commercial I just saw. Check out this video: Kohler Shower Commercial Add to My Profile | More Videos Oh yeah, I'm getting one of those Kohler Showers! (And no, this is not a paid post.) Hey! Where ya going? by Paula Neal Mooney Riding back from Chicago the other day, I heard a song called The River by Noel Gourdin . It was so different than some of the other trite junk in heavy rotation on XM Satellite radio that I took notice. Coming home, I Googled Noel Gourdin and found that his haunting and beautiful The River song and lyrics would make the perfect foundation for a new niche website all about him. If I learned nothing else at BlogHer07 , and in reading about $10,000 per month Google Adsense niche site profits on the web , is that it pays to turn your passion into a superniche and build a website around it. NoelGourdin.com was already taken, so I bought the next best thing -- Noel-Gourdin.com -- 'cause I learned how important that dash is! (Can you believe GoDaddy is selling Micro-Braids.com for over $1,200?) So bless the Holy Spirit for waking me up at 5 a.m. this dawn and showing me how to set the whole Noel Gourdin Official Fan Site up. The other Google Suggest Lab terms abo...
