Goodbye SEO, Hello SEM!

So I'm finally taking a lesson from my last post, "Does Google rank money-making websites lower?" and switching from SEO (search engine optimization) to SEM (search engine marketing) to drive traffic to my websites.

I'd tried a Google Adwords campaign before -- without much success.

But now I've learned how to create better Google Adwords campaigns and make money with Google Adwords, so I'm happy to give it another try.

Man, if you figure out how to make money with ad words, will you please share a tip with me? I am done with it, but I'm sure that I just don't have it right. I would really appreciate it.

Paula, I'd like to hear more about it too. How long are you going to test and tweak before posting an update on your results?

I just bought "WordPress for Dummies" to learn how to program the inner workings of the platform and make my blog more dynamic for the new year. It's going to look a lot more professional and I may finally be ready to add some serious income generating features to it.

Happy New Year!!!

That's pretty interesting change. I have heard about SEM lately but not sure how it works and how to do it. Maybe a few more blog posts from you will help enlighten it.

Looking forward to it! :)
