TV LINKS UK DOWN 2007, WEBSITE OWNER ARRESTED!

I was amazed to read this article about the TV links UK website that has been shut down, and its owner arrested.

(Mahalo also has TV links UK 2007 down and website owner arrested news.)

Thank GOD above for warning me to not link to TV links UK before they even shut down, because I figured what he was doing was probably not legal.

TV links UK being shut down will be a good warning to people who run the illegal websites, and hopefully a wake up call to movie studios and TV people to offer their stuff online so that people can pay for them legitimately.

Actually, tv-links did not hosted any material, only linked to it. Besides, we are all the time linking to YouTube videos, when we all know that most of them are illegal too.

UPDATE - I can't do it. Just as soon as I signed up with Tissa's people search engine, I cancelled. I just don't feel right about helping people find other people's addresses and phone numbers. AND THIS PRIVACY ISSUE IS GAINING STEAM. CHECK OUT THE CONTROVERSY BREWING OVER THE MYLIFE.COM PRIVACY SELLING ISSUES THAT TISSA USES TO PROVIDE THE PEOPLE SEARCH ENGINE INFO. I know I could probably make money with it, but it's just not sitting right with my soul. Back to the drawing board. I know better things await... I kept trying to rationalize that many people could use the people search engines for good purposes, like reconnecting with old classmates and finding deadbeat dads and such -- but the reality is that if just one person uses them for nefarious purposes, I just don't want to be a part of that.
