DC Madam Deborah Palfrey Kills Herself - Was it really suicide, or murder?
Shocking news of Deborah Jeane Palfrey's death leads people to Google - DC Madam Murder?
by Paula Neal Mooney
Here are the actual phone numbers on DC Madam's list that a federal judge agreed could be released to the public.
Deborah Jeane Palfrey's website also had a list of zip files that contained a more complete listing of the DC Madam's client list of phone numbers, along with an explanation of why they were being released, but I see that's gone now.
The net went crazy when actual names were expected to be derived from Deborah Jeane Palfrey's list -- and now it's sure to go crazy again today with the news of the DC Madam's death.
DC Madam Murder - or Suicide?
Reading the shocking news of Deborah Jeane Palfrey's death -- along with the rumored high-powered men that would be exposed from her list -- makes the conspiracy-theory side of my brain race with "All the President's Men" type scenarios of murder, cover-ups and the like...
Back when the DC Madam story first broke, part of me wondered if the federal judge realized the implications of allowing the release of the DC Madam's list online, another part was happy that the judge realized that one woman (albeit one doing illegal things) shouldn't shoulder the entire blame alone.
Back when her list was first released, I could hardly believe my eyes that it was happening, but as the DC Madam warned, she wasn't going down alone.
Of course, I can't help but still feel sorry for everyone involved as the info on the DC Madam's list became public -- especially the wives and children -- and now for the loved ones of Deborah Jeane Palfrey...
And I wondered how this would've all shaken down if it were a list of mostly married women who had visited male escort services?
Oh well, there's no turning back now. Such sadness surrounding prostitution...

Everybody wants to know the names and phone numbers on the list of Deborah Jeane Palfrey, aka the DC Madam aka Miz Julia.
Some are crying out for ABC News to publish the infamous list -- which correspondent Brian Ross says contains "...several thousand names, tens of thousands of phone numbers, from administration officials to lobbyists to advisers who are well known, people who appear on television."
Can you imagine the fallout?
"I'm sure as heck not going to be going to federal prison for one day, let alone four to eight years...
"I'll bring in every last one of them in if necessary."
Oh boy.
Love indeed covers a multitude of sins, but maybe it's time for those sins to be made public.
We'll see.
