I am a real live journalist...at last!

It's official. I am a real live journalist! Yay!
Praise the Lord and pass the DVDs, please...

Yesterday I received a FedEx package (Yes, for me! Not Cavs tickets for my hubby for once!) from my cool-as-beans editor Mike from Associated Content.

"The People's Media Company," my husband, Chris, repeated as he checked out my booty -- of media stuff, this time.

The huge envelope contained not only a big Associated Content cup that'll ensure I'm up on my water intake, but also a small squishy stress ball-type brain and an advanced DVD copy of 3 Lbs, a new medical drama -- the title refers to the weight of the adult brain -- from CBS starring Stanley Tucci as a hot neurosurgeon.

Since 3 Lbs doesn't premiere on CBS until a week from today -- with a full preview on CBS.com this Thursday -- I felt a surge of genuine reporter glee getting a chance to check out this intriguing drama well before the rest of the world.

I got the sense that Mike needed this reviewed ASAP, so I watched the hospital drama while my husband slept, then stayed up till after 1 a.m. writing this review.

It amazed me that my review of 3 lbs turned out as it did with the Holy Ghost working powerfully thru me late last night before I became too bleary eyed to write anything.

I thank Him for that. And I thank you guys in advance for reading and rating my review of 3 lbs, and if you're up for it, checking out the drama on CBS.com this Thursday, or on the old idiot box one week from tonight on CBS at 10 p.m. et/pt and stopping back here to let me know what you think.

Thanks for reading! Feel free to bookmark or blogroll me at http://www.paulamooney.blogspot.com/ and drop back in some day to see what I'm up to next. Blessings and love, Paula
