Sinbad's Wikipedia Page Screenshot Falsely Reports His Death...

by Paula Neal Mooney Those Wikipedia editors got the net in a tizzy this week when some wise guy reported that comedian Sinbad had died. As you can see from the below screenshot of Sinbad's current Wikipedia page , it has been locked down to prevent pranksters from spreading more death rumors about the funny "son of a preacher man." But I've spent a good deal of time this morning looking for Sinbad's original Wikipedia page screenshot that falsely reported his death in the first place. I'm sure some intrepid 12-year-old grabbed a screenshot of Sinbad's Wikipedia death page , just for giggles. Does anyone have it? Wikipedia is a great resource, but I always take it with a grain of salt and perform a lot of back-up research on what is reported therein because of stunts like this. Remember when the Wikipedians created a whole detailed page about Halle Berry's impending music CD that turned out to be a hoax ? Birthdays are sometimes wrong on Wikipedia. A...

Explode! has a nice widget (though not as cool as M...

How to Get on the Front Page of Digg

by Paula Neal Mooney Just when I thought only a room full of kids paid by Democrats digging away was the only way to get on the front page of Digg , I found this. Now, what challenge can I pose to get people to digg me all the way to Digg's front page? I don't know but I can't wait for that techie's streaming video. Bookmark me at http://www.paulamooney.blogspot.com/ and drop back in some day to see what I'm up to next. Blessings and love, Paula Tags: front , page , of , digg , most , popular , diggs , unbanned , banned , record

Greg Page to Leave The Wiggles

by Paula Neal Mooney GREG PAGE from The Wiggles is sick, and it's odd that I'm tearing up as I read all the reports of Greg Page -- the yellow-shirted guy from The Wiggles -- asking in and between the lines: What are The Wiggles going to say about Greg Page tomorrow at their press conference? What is the mystery illness that has been causing Greg Page to faint? Are The Wiggles going to replace Greg Page , one of The Wiggles' founders, with the understudy, Sam Moran , that's been filling in for Greg Page since he dropped out in July? My sis never cared much for The Wiggles because she says they hardly ever have black folks on their show. From my observations of The Wiggles' shows, I believe she's right. But The Wiggles, after all, are from Australia, and I keep getting reports that Australians aren't too keen on black folks down under. Come and spend your tourist money for sure, scuba dive the Great Barrier Reef, but if you want to pack up and mo...
