They are great tips that can translate to getting more money from Google Adsense -- and the thought-process can work for whatever other ads you run as well. Until that point, Google Adwords advertisers had only the cost-per-thousand impressions, or CPM , to contend with. I started my first Google Adwords campaign to drive traffic to my dad's tax blog . This morning, a mere 12 days later, my Technorati ranking has been raised to 24,238. How'd that happen besides a whole lotta God's favor? Today I read on ProBlogger that Google is giving out a free $50 coupon for new folks who've never used Google Adwords before. My friend Erica hipped me to Google Adwords but she didn't spend $50 , I belive she spent around $35 and got some good hits for her eBook, but no sales yet. It didn't dawn on me till I read Darren's blog post that I could use the free $50 Google Adwords coupon to promote my blog, and I guess this doesn't violate any Google Adwords laws since I run Google Adsense ads (kind of the whole point in using that free Google Adwords $50 coupon in the first place...let's keep it in the family, Googlemeisters) and Amazon Affiliate products on this blog.
